Project management came about as a result of the need to coordinate more and more complex projects, sometimes even different professional fields, as well as tight deadlines, the need for accurate planning, reuseability and generalizability. In order to satisfy these demands, several enterprises have tried to provide solutions since the 1960s and the current methodologies are the result of decades of development and continuous updating. The two best known methodologies, PMI® and PRINCE2®, follow a similar approach. However, they differ somewhat regarding details.
In our course you will gain expertise in about the widely used PRINCE2® methodology in detail, as well as its key elements. The PRINCE2® methodology was developed in the United Kingdom and it was published in 1996 as the fruit of the work of about 150 European enterprises. Its current version can be used generally for a wide range of projects.
This PRINCE2® training program is fully accredited by PeopleCert.

This self-paced online learning version of the comprehensive program is also available!
You will go through hundreds of practitioner style questions on all PRINCE2® subjects and will receive two full PRINCE2® Practitioner mock exams with answers & reasoning.
The PRINCE2® Practitioner exam aims to measure whether a candidate can apply PRINCE2® to the running and managing of a non-complex project within an environment supporting PRINCE2®.

To do so, you must have the competences required for Foundation certification and show that you can apply and tailor PRINCE2® to address the needs and problems of a given project scenario. Specifically:
- Know or comment on detailed explanations of all processes, themes and techniques and examples of all PRINCE2® management products as they might be applied to address the particular circumstances of a given project scenario.
- Demonstrate that s/he understands the relationships between processes, themes, techniques and PRINCE2® management products and can apply this understanding.
