We interviewed Dávid Kiss, an engineer at Ericsson Hungary, who completed our ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level course. Get to know Dávid's experiences during his time with us!

How did you hear about Masterfield?

I first read about Masterfield in Ericsson's internal newsletters. They mentioned it as a potential training provider for the CTFL (Certified Tester Foundation Level) course. Ericsson has always valued professional development and acquiring new skills, so it was not surprising that they recommended a high-quality training institution.

Why did you choose our Training Centre?

I chose you because the Masterfield Training Centre is a contracted partner of Ericsson Hungary for CTFL training. Naturally, this piqued my interest, and I was happy to take the opportunity. I trusted that I could learn from an organization that has already proven itself in the professional field.

What is your current position at your workplace?

I currently work as a Release Verification Engineer. My job is to check and validate new software releases to ensure they meet expectations and standards.

Why did you enroll in our ISTQB CTFL course? How does it relate to your job?

I enrolled in the ISTQB CTFL course because software testing is fundamentally important in the industry, and this foundational course is a step in my professional development. I am convinced that building on such foundations will enable me to perform my tasks more effectively in my current and future workplaces.

What did you like most about the course? Is there anything you'd highlight?

During the course, I was particularly impressed by the instructor, Bea Hergovics, and her professional preparedness. I found that she could convey the seemingly dry material in a very clear and enjoyable way. It was a pleasure to see someone present the subject with such enthusiasm and expertise.

What is your opinion on the organization?

The organization fully met my expectations. Roxana, our course coordinator, shared all necessary information in detail and responded quickly to all my questions. I highly appreciated the efficient communication and flexibility in handling any issues that arose.

How did you find the instructor and the quality of the education?

Bea was indeed an exceptional instructor, both professionally and personally.

Did you complete the course online or in the classroom, and what were your experiences with the chosen format?

I chose the online course and had very positive experiences with it. The instructor handled the online participants excellently.

Do you plan to take more courses? If so, which ones?

Although I am not currently planning to take more courses, I am open to new opportunities in the future. I would gladly continue my professional development and take additional courses that could help advance my career.

Would you recommend studying at Masterfield to others?

Absolutely, I would recommend Masterfield to anyone who wants to develop professionally and receive high-quality training. Based on my experiences, I believe that students at Masterfield are in good hands and will gain in many ways.
