Candidates for the CPRE Requirements Management Practitioner level examination must already have received the CPRE Foundation Level certification or BCS Practitioner certification in Requirements Engineering.
Candidates for the CPRE Requirements Management Specialist level examination must have received the CPRE Requirements Management Practitioner certification.

The International Requirements Engineering Board (IREB) is a leading nonprofit enterprise that aims to advance the Requirements discipline. IREB has established a Certification Program for Requirements Engineering (CPRE), which is recognized worldwide

The program consists of these levels:

  • Foundation Level
  • Advanced Level
    • Practitioner Certificate
    • Specialist Certificate
  • Expert Level

This comprehensive program will prepare you for the exams Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering – Advanced Level Requirements Management Practitioner and Specialist. You will meet the criteria set by IREB and learn the international standards, methods and techniques for Requirements Management.

 

 

Structure of this professional development program

Discover the essentials of Requirements Engineering in this interactive three-day training. you will gain expertise in about Requirements Engineering from both theoretical and practical perspectives. You will also engage in exercises and discussions to develop your critical thinking and problem-solving skills. To help you prepare for the certification exam, you will take mock tests during the comprehensive program and review the curriculum in the evenings. The certification is optional and consists of two parts:

  • The practitioner exam: this is a 75-minute multiple-choice exam that tests your knowledge of the core concepts and techniques of Requirements Engineering. If you need to take the exam in a language other than your native one, you can request a 15-minute extension.
  • The specialist exam: this is a paper-based exam that requires you to write a report on a realistic project situation from your own experience, demonstrating your ability to apply the acquired RE skills.
