At Masterfield Training Centre, we place strong emphasis not only on training but also on obtaining certifications. Our exam center offers a wide range of vendor certifications, and as an accredited trainer of the Hungarian Testing Board (HTB), we also collaborate closely with HTB in organizing tester exams.
At our Kryterion, Pearson VUE, and PeopleCert exam center, you can take official exams from organizations such as Microsoft, Oracle, Google, HP, Adobe, IBM, Cisco, Apple, ISTQB, PMI, ITIL, PRINCE2, and many others.
In December 2013, the Masterfield Training Centre became home to the only Kryterion exam center in the country. Kryterion is a market leader in online exams with live remote proctoring. Pearson VUE is the world’s largest exam center network, administering exams for certifications established and maintained by major IT companies worldwide. At our PeopleCert exam center, you can take one of the most popular project management framework exams, PRINCE2.

How to register, reschedule, or cancel an exam?
Kryterion: You can manage your exam registration on the Webassessor platform by clicking here. You can also reschedule or cancel your exam in line with the vendor’s rules. Available exam dates can be viewed on the same page. Please note that Masterfield cannot assist with Kryterion exam registration—all arrangements are the responsibility of the candidate.
Pearson VUE: Exams can be booked via the official Pearson VUE website. If you need assistance, Masterfield can support you with the registration process—especially for corporate-funded exams, where invoicing in HUF may be required. Rescheduling or canceling an exam is only possible according to the vendor’s rules, and handling this is the candidate’s responsibility. Always check the vendor’s regulations for your chosen exam.
PeopleCert: You can manage your exam registration through the PeopleCert platform. In your personal account, you can select a date and location using the voucher number provided by Masterfield. Rescheduling and cancellation can also be done there, in line with the rules. Masterfield can assist with the registration process if needed.

The format of your exam may vary depending on the vendor and exam centre. At Masterfield Training Centre, you can take exams online, on paper, or via live remote proctoring.
Online exam:
A computer-based exam taken in the Masterfield Training Centre exam room, with camera-based proctoring. Available at Kryterion, Pearson VUE, and PeopleCert exam centres.
Live remote proctored exam:
A computer-based exam taken in line with the technical requirements, either at a location chosen by the candidate or in the Masterfield Training Centre exam room. The exam is monitored live via video. Available at Kryterion, Pearson VUE, and PeopleCert exam centres.
Paper-based exam:
A paper-based, in-person exam held at the Masterfield Training Centre or another location supervised by Masterfield. The exam is monitored in person. Available at PeopleCert exam centres.
Dedicated Exam Room at Masterfield Training Centre
At the Masterfield Training Centre, we provide a dedicated exam room for taking exams. Our exam room is set up to meet vendor requirements and is equipped with cameras to monitor the exam, promptly address technical issues, and ensure compliance with all regulations. The room is air-conditioned, quiet, and suitable for a few candidates, providing a distraction-free environment for your exam.
A separate administrative room is used for check-in and candidate identification (photo, signature, ID verification, and secure storage of personal belongings).

Most exams are paid in foreign currency, but this may vary depending on the exam centre and the vendor. Please always check the vendor’s requirements. You can find current exam fees on the vendor websites or ask the Masterfield Training Centre exam administrators.

Kryterion exams: The exam fee is displayed on the Webassessor platform and can be paid online by credit card in foreign currency.

Pearson VUE exams: If you register directly, payment can be made by credit card, bank transfer in foreign currency, or voucher. If registration is handled by Masterfield, payment options include bank transfer or credit card.

PeopleCert exams: Fees can be paid at Masterfield via voucher purchase, bank transfer, or credit card.
Guidelines for Your Exam Day at Masterfield Training Centre
Our Training Centre strictly follows the exam procedures set by the vendors. If you are taking your exam at Masterfield, please prepare according to the instructions below:

Arrive at least 15 minutes before your exam starts.

Bring valid photo ID(s). Exact requirements are listed in the information provided after you register for your exam. We recommend bringing this guide with you, as it contains useful details.

Check in at the reception and inform our staff that you are here for your exam; they will assist you with the next steps.

Depending on your exam type, you may be allowed to use a calculator, scratch paper, or an official book. Instructions are included in the post-registration guide.

Store all personal items in the lockers located outside the exam room. No personal belongings, mobile phones, food, or drinks are allowed in the exam room.

Exams are monitored via camera to handle technical issues and ensure compliance with exam procedures. Recordings are stored and used in accordance with vendor regulations.

Exam results are provided according to the vendor’s rules. In most cases, you can see your results immediately after the exam. You will also receive an email confirmation from the vendor once your exam is officially completed.

Upon successful completion, you will receive an electronic certificate. A paper certificate can also be requested via the vendor’s contact details.
Tester Exams Available at Our Training Centre
Masterfield Training Centre was the first in Hungary to offer the ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level course. Today, we have one of the widest portfolios in the country, and our exam pass rates are very high—thanks to our high-quality, practice-oriented training.
If participants would like to take an exam after completing a course, we primarily recommend the Hungarian Testing Board (HTB) exam centre, although many ISTQB exams are also available at Pearson VUE Test Centers.
Currently, the HTB portfolio includes ISTQB, IREB, and TMMi exams, and preparation courses for these exams can be found in the Masterfield training course list.
Exam registration, changes, and cancellation
You can register directly with HTB; in this case, all exam-related procedures must be completed through the HTB registration portal.
Alternatively, you can register through Masterfield Training Centre by simply completing and submitting a form to us. We will manage the rest of the registration process on your behalf.
To reschedule or cancel your exam, you must also notify us. Please note that, according to the exam regulations, changes or cancellations are only permitted in certain cases. We recommend reviewing the exam regulations before submitting any request.
At the HTB exam center, both online and paper-based exams are available.

Online and in-person classroom exams are offered almost every Friday.

Online-only exams are available every other Thursday.
The registration deadline for all exams is two weeks before the chosen exam date.
Online Exam:
A computer-based exam conducted at a location designated by HTB, with camera-based proctoring provided for all exams.
Live Remote Proctored Exam:
A computer-based exam conducted according to technical requirements at a location chosen by the candidate. The exam is monitored live via video using a mobile device.
Paper-Based Exam:
A paper-based, in-person exam conducted at the HTB exam center or another location supervised by HTB. The exam is monitored in person.
Exam fees can be paid in advance in HUF, and payment in foreign currency is also possible upon request. For current ISTQB exam fees, please check the HTB website or contact the Masterfield Training Centre exam administrators.
