First time in Hungary: advanced IREB Requirements Engineering courses now available at Masterfield!
Innovation and continuous improvement are defining features of the IT sector. To keep pace with change, we have expanded our portfolio with three new Advanced Level courses that are set to become essential for the requirements engineering community in Hungary.
Developed and validated by IREB, these three courses are currently available in Hungary exclusively through Masterfield.

What is IREB and what is CPRE?
IREB, the International Requirements Engineering Board, is a non-profit organisation that defines international standards and certifications in requirements engineering. It is a widely recognised expert body whose CPRE (Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering) certification scheme supports professionals working in business analysis, requirements engineering and testing, while also providing a transparent, consistent framework for training providers in the field.
Who are these new courses for?
These courses are ideal for requirements engineers, business analysts, developers, and anyone who wants to deepen their expertise and earn an internationally recognised qualification in requirements planning and management. To obtain an IREB certificate for completing the training, you must already hold a CPRE Foundation Level certification.
Why attend these courses?
IREB courses reflect the latest industry trends and best practices. Participants will not only deepen their knowledge, but also earn internationally recognised certifications that can significantly strengthen their career prospects and market competitiveness.

What should you know about the Advanced Level courses?
IREB CPRE Advanced RE@Agile course (MFREAGILE)
This course provides a comprehensive overview of how to apply requirements engineering methods and techniques effectively in agile development. The RE@Agile approach aims to ensure that relevant requirements are sufficiently understood, agreed upon, specified and documented by the stakeholders involved in the development process. It also ensures that all requirements-related activities are carried out with an agile mindset. Participants will learn the steps and techniques of the RE@Agile framework as defined by IREB.
IREB CPRE Advanced Modeling course (MFCPREAM)
This course covers requirements modelling in depth. Requirements play a central role in the development of software-based systems, and the complexity of these systems has increased significantly in recent years. Over time, a purely textual format becomes less suitable for describing the interdependencies between requirements. In this training, participants will develop advanced skills in using graphical models to manage, process and analyse this complexity.
IREB CPRE Advanced Elicitation course (MFCPREAE)
This course develops participants’ requirements elicitation and consolidation skills. A key responsibility of a requirements engineer is to accurately understand stakeholders’ wants and needs, while also ensuring that requirements are gathered from all relevant sources. This includes being able to identify these sources, understand the nature and importance of different requirements, and use the appropriate techniques to uncover them. In short, participants must be able to translate implicit needs and expectations into explicit requirements. Our training provides a reliable methodology to achieve this.

Our Advanced Level courses are new to our portfolio, but our IREB CPRE Foundation Level course has been running successfully for many years. Read our interview with our student Katalin Balogh, who passed the internationally accredited IREB (CPRE) exam after earning her Masterfield certificate.
