We interviewed Gáspár Geönczeöl, a reservoir engineer at Magyar Földgáztároló Zrt., who has been a returning student at our Training Centre for years. After taking courses in Python Programming Basics, Java Programming Basics, JavaScript Programming Basics, Microsoft Access Macro Programming, and PHP Programming Basics, we asked him about his experience in our latest C# Basics course.

How did you hear about Masterfield? Why did you choose our Training Centre?

I searched for IT training providers online and selected Masterfield based on price and content, then I kept coming back due to my positive experiences. While browsing the internet, I came across several IT training companies, but I chose you because I found numerous positive reviews and the price-value ratio was attractive to me.

What is your current position at your workplace?

I have been working in my profession for over 17 years as a reservoir engineer at Magyar Földgáztároló Zrt., developing models based on flow modeling and thermodynamics. I deal with innovative technologies (hydrogen storage, physical-chemical modeling, etc.). In our engineering field, IT and, within that, programming, are very important cornerstones.

Why did you enroll in our C# Basics course? How does it relate to your job?

Since my job involves moving, organizing, and processing large amounts of data in databases and data warehouses, I felt the need to advance my programming skills. I had mainly used VBA so far, but I thought that gaining knowledge in C# and Python could help increase my work efficiency.

What did you like most about the course? Is there anything you'd highlight?

During the course, I most enjoyed the practice-oriented teaching and the elaboration of representative examples. These helped me truly understand and master the new material.

What is your opinion on the organization?

The organization was impeccable, and I was completely satisfied with everything.

The instructor was exemplary, and the quality of education was outstanding. Your courses are always very interesting, useful, and high-quality, which fuels my enthusiasm.

Did you complete the course online or in the classroom, and what were your experiences with the chosen format?

I participated in the course online, which we have become accustomed to in recent pandemic years. Although it has both disadvantages and advantages, I now feel I would like to try in-person participation again.

Do you plan to take more courses? If so, which ones?

I had been programming in VBA but needed to learn modern object-oriented languages and development environments. Since my company supported my further training, I enrolled in Masterfield’s courses. I acquired very useful knowledge that I can apply in my work. Naturally, I plan to take more courses, such as: Intermediate C# Programming Course, Advanced C# Programming Course, WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) Programming in C# - Introductory Course, WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) Programming in C# - Advanced Course, Web and Mobile Application Development in C# Course.

I would definitely recommend studying at Masterfield to others. I have had very positive experiences with the Training Centre.
