PRINCE2® 7 Foundation Examination Details:
- Available in English + 11 other languages,
- Multiple-choice questions,
- 60 questions per paper,
- 36 marks required (out of a total of 60) to pass: 60%,
- One hour's (60 minutes) duration,
- Closed book.
PRINCE2® 7 Practitioner Examination Details:
- Objective testing
- 70 questions per paper
- 42 marks or more required to pass (out of 70 available): 60%
- Two-and-a-half hours’ (150 minutes) duration, no additional reading time
- Open book. Candidates are permitted to use the official printed hard copy of the PRINCE2® 7 Managing Successful Projects. The official manual may be annotated and tabulated but no sticky notes and loose leaf papers containing additional notes will be allowed.
To attend the PRINCE2® 7 Practitioner exam, one must hold one of the following certifications:
- PRINCE2 Agile Foundation
- PRINCE2® 5/6/7 Foundation
- PRINCE2® 5/6/7 Practitioner
- Project Professional Qualification (PPQ)
- Project Management Qualification (PMQ)
- Project Management Professional® (PMP)*

Starting in 2023, all PeopleCert Global Best Practice certifications will need to be renewed after 3 years.
